5 Tips For Planning Your Next Golf Vacation

golf is one of the most popular games played throughout the world, from North America to africa to Asia to Australia. Everyone just loves the game, thus making it one of the most well-known sports today. Have you as a golfer ever wondered what it would be like to play golf in other areas, instead of your usual golf courses or your favourite golf clubs in your neighbourhood? If so, how about taking some time out for a golf vacation?

Does playing golf in another country or in a totally new culture excite you? Would you like to take in new sights and play on new courses in different environments? If you answered yes, then you should seriously consider taking an exotic and exciting golf vacation. A lot of golfers have been doing this for years. Nothing comes close to doing the thing that you love which is golfing and also getting the opportunity to visit other country at the same time.

With that in mind, how do you find the best and most exotic golf getaway vacation? Listed are some tips to help you out:

1. The first thing you should keep in mind is never to keep everything till the last minute. Information should be obtained as early as possible so that you can make the best plans for your vacation. For starters you could check out the various websites on the internet which have golf vacation packages for almost everywhere around the world. You could also check out your newsstands for the many golf magazines which offer reviews of vacation packages of golf courses. These reviews also provide tips on the best and most suitable golf spots that are available out there for you. Remember, research is the key.

2. Check out the fees of the various golf courses to see if they charge premium fees for playing golf during the weekends or the holidays. Also see if they offer discounts for golfers who opt to play later in the day or for those who decide to play for a certain amount of time in a day. Keep in mind that you are still on a vacation trip, so keep your expenses to a minimum and save your money. Choose to play on a golf course if it is less expensive.

3. plan, plan and plan. Planning is essential especially if you are going on vacation in a group. Let's say you are going to the course in a group of six, it is advisable for you to phone ahead and inform the staff at the golf course beforehand. One golfer who drops by at a golf course can be easily accommodated, even if it is at the busiest of times. On the other hand, a large group of golfers trying to play a course requires you to register in advance, more so during peak periods.

4. Once you have decided on a course, you would need to use your credit card to make your reservation. Before you give out your credit card number, find out about the policy of the club with regards to cancellations or no-shows. should you suddenly find yourself unable to play and having to cancel your reservation, make sure you inform the staff of the club properly so that they will not charge you unnecessarily.

5. It is also advisable to book your tee off times in advance, preferably when you are about to leave home. Nowadays most clubs allow you to book in advance through their own website or through a third-party company or agency. Very convenient, don't you think so?

Taking a golf vacation can be an exciting experience for all golfers. Though it can be very expensive, with careful planning and adequate research, you will be assured of having a great time!

Indianapolis Semi-Pro Football Team Wins National Championship

The Hoosier Hurricanes invaded Homestead, Florida for last weekends 4th annual Minor league Football News (MLFN) super Football Weekend strong winded and left with reign.

In a game dominated by defense, the Hurricanes hammered the carolina Express 41-0 to win MLFNs AA national championship.

To reach this point so quickly is incredible, said Hurricanes head coach john Starlin. I really feel like a proud father to all of those guys.

While the Canes offense was strong, the play of their defense was dominant. The Canes forced eight turnovers and controlled the Express offense, which towered over them in size and power. Early in the contest, it looked like the Express were going to use their Power I offensive attack to run right down the throat of the Canes defense. When the Express were forced to throw, however, the speedy Hurricane secondary was able to take the game away. The first of four Express interceptions was thrown on that opening drive, and the Hurricanes never looked back.

They were a tough team to scout, but I really think they underestimated our speed, said Starlin. Other coaches from their league were able to help me out as far as scouting, but I knew as solid as our defense was that we could play with anybody.

Staying with the defensive theme of the game, linebacker Deon smith was awarded the games MVP for his 12 tackle performance. He also intercepted a pass and forced a fumble.

The AA national title was the perfect end to a season that was already storybook for the Indianapolis squad, founded by co-owners Starlin, David Day, and nfl wide receiver reggie Wayne. In their first year of existence, the Hurricanes were awarded best New Team in the Midwest by MLFN after finishing 13-1 in the ohio Valley Football league (OVFL). Their OVFL season finished with a super Bowl victory over the charlotte (MI) Roughriders, 21-0.

This has really been a dream season for us, said Starlin.

Starlins players have also won numerous accolades from MLFN. Four Canes were honored with Midwest All-american status: Derrick Ellis was an honorable mention Midwest All-american at running back, wide receiver Scott Penick made second team Midwest All-american, and Corey Crumpton and Charles Avant were first and second team at defensive back, respectively.

Ellis, a former Mr. Indiana while playing running back in high school, was also named running Back of the Year in the Midwest Region by MLFN.

The Hurricanes will return to the OVFL next season and compete to become the first ever back-to-back champion in league history, a feat no team has accomplished in 40 years of competition.

"We are trying to develop something special here," said Starlin.

It certainly looks like the Hurricanes are off to a roaring start.
